Deutscher ExpressionismusA poster for the 1961 exhibition of German Expressionist art to be held at the Kunsthaus Zurich. The works were primarily of artists from the Brck group, established in Dresden in 1905. Bold and colourful woodcuts and prints by the artists Kirchiner, Heckel, Schmidt Rottluff, Pechstein and Mueller depicting their bohemian, urban lives.
