The famous corpse flower is renown for having the largest inflorescence in the world
The species is best grown intermediate or highland
The plant for sale is the exact one in the photos and is XL size
we've found muluensis to really need solid highland conditions to thrive
This species is not widely available in cultivation and is very closely related to Nepenthes spathulata (except that it’s colored deep red)
We've been growing them under a wide range of conditions and they seem to be vigorous throughout
We have grown it as a lowlander and it does fine as well
it exhibits wide
There's some controversy over the split between robcantleyi and related taxa
Though this can be overcome by giving the plant consistent warm temperatures with high humidity
So far they seem to get deep red coloration and the woody pitcher texture with striped peristome from the veitchii x lowii parent
This cross has a complex parentage and can be grown well from lowland through highland conditions
