Futtaker SchlingroseDark red, leaning toward purple, high centered, double bloom. Healthy bush, vigorous and hardy. Another of our favorites of the hardy Rudolf Geschwind bred roses. Zone 5 and possibly more hardy. This rose has grown for several years on our climber fence in the stock garden area. It is worth a visit when the rose is blooming in mid spring, quite beautiful.

It has proven to be a bit tender here in our zone 5 windy prairie garden but we are going to try planting it again in a protected area of the garden
