Holly for December5x7 cyanotype and watercolor on 140lb watercolor paper. Shipped in a flat envelope, frame not included. The flowers of the month for December are Holly and Narcissus. I chose to paint Holly in watercolor on cyanotype and the Narcissus in abstract watercolor. Holly has a multitude of meanings however my favorite are courage, foresight and protection defense. Hollys leaves are strong, and despite harsh seasons it blooms beautiful green leaves and bright

The flower of the month for February is the Violet

Each painting captures in one glance what could be many moments of a life-time lived

The background to this piece is textured clay

I almost left it out of the series—but over time

In this piece you see the threads emerge along the ripples of water movement

The Violet symbolizes faithfulness and spirituality

and Emerald Skies soaks all those feelings up and declares them beautiful
