Magenta Linen Cotton Kimono Style Wrap with ChickensThis 45% Cotton, 55% Linen woven fabric is dyed with fiber reactive dye and then hand printed with Magenta polka dots, Red feather rings, and Pink chickens. The lining is a medium weight un dyed 100% cotton. My new wrap! Inspired by a traditional kimono of Japan, my simplified pattern is sort of a mix of the female and male versions, so I hope that anyone will like to wear it. The backs are also dyed in organic indigo but then blockprinted with original artworks

and blockprinted with nubien ibex horn in black ink and stamped with textured polka dots in pink

The creation of both iron and fructose indigo vats are shown (others if requested)

A piece of Better Than Jam fabric is adhered to a 10" x 10" birch panel frame

Then the fabric after thorough washing is screenprinted by hand with metallic gold firework remnants
