This is an original vintage Lancaster & Sons of Hanley England biscuit barrel / cookie jar from the 1920's

It has a small chip at the very top but the light fitting will cover this

They have flower transfer designs and hand painted gold paint details

It is quite heavy for its size and has originally been very well made

Shipping will be much cheaper if you do not want the frame

It is round in shape and measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches in height

It is signed Herimann

It is made of white ceramic porcelain with a yellow and blue luster / iridescent glaze

The top lid has a lady figure as the top handle
