Antique Wax or Wafer SealThis is a stunning seal carved stamp with a lovely crosshatch matrix to the base. It is made of turned bovine bone and is evidently very old, probably Georgian at least. It has the bone leading down to the brass stamp which can be unscrewed so you can change the stamp. The top part is likely to be the standing part as it is broader and has patina and good pitting and some hair lines and possibly some glue residue to the top. It stands just under 3. 5

possibly some replaced and the central stone is in a different setting so possibly a gemstone

The top of the case has a lovely little cat's head with sparkling green eyes as shown
