Alisa StarSeptember 2004 Sterling silver For my cousin Annie's bat mitzvah I was trying to create a cartouche of sorts with her Hebrew name (Alisa), but wasn't satisfied with the vertical arrangement of the letters. So I tried putting cursive versions of the Hebrew letters next to each other horizontally, and accidentally discovered that her name made a great Star of David, albeit an extremely abstract one. I was blessed to find a design as unique as she is!
