I’ve flown over many marinas around the world

the varying hues and striations in the eons-old landscape created a zigzag pattern reminiscent of Missoni's iconic designs

As I hovered above

When you add it all up

In the countless times they had flown over this area

it becomes the perfect abacus

one reluctant invader basked in the unfiltered UV rays

Early that Spring morning

During a ten-day shoot over the Hawaiian Islands

Flying over city center in Amsterdam

while flying below the radar over South Beach’s deep space platform

I had the privilege of encountering one of nature's majestic miracles: towering Eucalyptus Grandis trees
